Biography
The Fighter
Étienne drafts board games on enormous sheets of tracing paper. He loves explaining systems, although his intricate ring traps and impatient teaching voice sometimes assume everyone follows his logic immediately.
Personality
creative, exacting, condescending when explanations seem obvious
Ring attire
Deep purple satin trunks with cream side panels and trim and a gold laurel WCBC crest. The cream waistband reads “THE ARCHITECT” in purple, with purple gloves detailed in gold and purple-and-cream boots with cream laces — precision-drawn in every line.
Physical appearance
Athletic adult male anthropomorphic canine boxer; Dense tight apricot curls in practical sporting trim, long straight muzzle, curled drop ears and tall square athletic adult poodle build; no decorative pompons. Bare torso and professional boxing shorts.

Arvid Vale
Head coach
Arvid ValeTraining approach
Proposed France-to-Copenhagen camps with suitable super-welterweight partners and separate time for design projects.
Development focus
Explain one trap in ordinary language and revise it after a partner’s question without condescension.
Why this gym
Étienne’s layered jabs and precise traps fit Northline’s hypothesis testing, while tracing-paper game design gives him an authentic love of systems.
Compatibility
Arvid values creativity but asks whether an explanation helps the listener rather than demonstrating its author’s sophistication.

Teammate relationships
Henry provides noncontact timing observations; a clear practical question can reveal when an elegant system has become unnecessary complexity.
