Biography
The Fighter
João remembers small courtesies and studies opponents with fierce concentration. He patiently removes their escape routes, but rivalry sometimes leaves him struggling to share his coach’s attention with teammates.
Personality
Courteous, Competitive, Possessive
Ring attire
Dark green satin trunks with copper-gold side stripes, cream trim and a gold WCBC crest. The green waistband reads “THE BOA” in gold, with green gloves with copper-and-gold cuffs and green boots with copper accents and white laces — built to constrict.
Physical appearance
Powerful golden-fawn Fila Brasileiro with dark muzzle, pronounced loose neck skin and dewlap, long pendulous ears, long broad canine head, substantial athletic frame and short dense coat. Forest-green satin shorts and gloves with copper and cream trim; waistband THE BOA. Accurate Brazilian flag. Preserve JOÃO accent in title.

Leonora "Keys" Banks
Head coach
Leonora "Keys" BanksTraining approach
Proposed Brazil-to-Detroit blocks; Leonora recuses for their contest, with corner appointments pending explicit approval and conflict checks.
Development focus
Hold the escape route without chasing and state a need directly when another athlete receives individual time.
Why this gym
João’s ring cutting and close pressure suit Leonora’s settled-foot entries, while his careful courtesies can contribute real warmth to the quiet counter.
Compatibility
She values competitive concentration but keeps coaching attention a shared resource rather than a possession.
